Then check out the opportunities listed below! We are currently recruiting for Machine Operators and Maintenance Technician:
Manufacturing Engineer
- Supports the Automation Manager and Automation team with engineering projects, cost reduction initiatives, engineering changes and capital equipment development
- Estimates cost of proposed projects, including material and labor – Provides information to the Automation Manager
- Maintains and enforces company standards for project files and drawings
- Develop equipment requirements and specifications for specialized molding, assembly and secondary equipment
- Prepares bids and equipment specifications and assists purchasing staff with the purchase of complex equipment
- Management of equipment suppliers through all phases of projects
- Lead production improvement projects to increase flexibility and product flow
- Processes ECN’s, Sample Requests and supporting documentation as needed
- Identifies and implements cost reduction initiatives that reduce labor and overall project related costs
- Responsible for researching and testing manufacturing concepts, developing new manufacturing processes and performing redesigns
- Must have 20/20 near vision. Corrective lenses may be used to achieve such quality of vision and must be worn while on duty if needed
- Must be capable of lifting 50#
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline , with a focus in Plastics and/or Manufacturing or Industrial Technology if strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of Automation, Manufacturing and Plastics is preferred
- Knowledge of design methods, engienering methods, engineering materials and plastics manufacturing
- 3+ years in manufacturing, automation or similar environment is strongly preferred
Mold Maker
- Performs journeyman work in the shop and in the plant in preparation for production of new tooling as well as revision changes, repair and maintenance of current molds
- Responsible for troubleshooting of injection molds for repair work – including broken components, part flash, sticking parts, leaking water or some other improper function of the injection mold
- Ability to repair or make new replacement components such as ejector pins, core pins, cam pins, bolt thread repair, etc
- Dismantles or partially dismantles molds to locate cause of malfunction or cause of part defect
- Replaces or repairs damaged area and works with engineering and set up personnel to assure mold is operating correctly
- Perform preventative maintenance of injection moldings including cleaning, inspection and re-greasing
- Perform tooling conversions both in and out of the press
- Ability to test functionality of hot manifolds
- Support Production , Tool Room, Metrology and Engineering through assigned projects
- Thorough understanding of injection mold tooling and the injection molding process
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to use manual mills, grinders, lathes, cut-off tools, drill press and band saw
- Must have 20/20 near vision. Corrective lenses may be used to achieve such quality of vision and must be worn while on duty if needed
- Must be capable of lifting up to 75# on a regular basis
- Must have experience working in an plastic injection molding tool room
- Mold Maker Journeyman, Certification in Mold Making or as a Machinist is strongly preferred
